Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 4 October 2024 asking for information about Safety at Bank station.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.

Please provide a copy of the safety policy in place at Bank station for the past five years in the event of wet weather.  

Please confirm how and how often adherence to the policy is reviewed.  

We do not hold a specific wet weather policy, but plans are implemented when heavy rain is forecast which includes specific actions for different areas of London Underground that are undertaken. This includes actions from a maintenance perspective to reduce risks to our assets and a stations and trains perspective to protect the operation of these areas. During other wet weather (e.g. not heavy rain) station staff would ensure that cleaning is undertaken as necessary to reduce the potential for slips/trips/falls.
