Under the requirements of Freedom of Information could you please provide me with the following with regard to the construction and operation of the C9 Cycleway in Chiswick:
For each year from 2020 to the end of November 2022, the costs of installing and maintaining all new or replacement traffic light equipment (signal heads, loop detectors, controllers etc) for the control of cycle phases at all junctions along Chiswick High Road from, and including, Heathfield Terrace to Goldhawk Road.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 24 November 2022, asking for information about C9 in Chiswick.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:
For each year from 2020 to the end of November 2022, the costs of installing and maintaining all new or replacement traffic light equipment (signal heads, loop detectors, controllers etc) for the control of cycle phases at all junctions along Chiswick High Road from, and including, Heathfield Terrace to Goldhawk Road.
The cost of installing traffic light equipment in the initial temporary Cycleway along the Chiswick High Road (delivered in Dec 2020) was £138.7k. The cost for the upgraded traffic light equipment in 2021/22 was £249k. These costs include hardware and rental of any temporary traffic lights to support the construction.
We do not have any information on the specific maintenance costs of traffic light equipment along Chiswick High Road to date.
