I find it quite amazing when you state that these buses have been adapted to meet low emission standards.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 7 September 2023 asking for information about the London Buses network.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:
details on when the existing buses on routes R11 , R1 , B14 and 233 were retro fitted to meet LEZ and the cost per bus . I find it quite amazing when you state that these buses have been adapted to meet low emission standards.

TfL undertook a retrofit programme between 2017 to 2020 to ensure all buses in the fleet met Euro VI/ULEZ standards. Since January 2021, the entire bus fleet has met Euro VI emission standards and ULEZ standards.
We can advise that retrofit technology cost an estimated £20k per bus; this was funded by TfL.
