Thank you for your web request received by us on 30 January 2017 asking for information about the new Highway Asset Management Status Report.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
Our response is as follows:
1. When will the new Highway Asset Management Status Report be sent out to London Boroughs?
- The updated template for the Asset Management Status Report was issued by Metis Consultants, on behalf of the London Technical Advisors Group (LoTAG), on Friday 27th January.
2. When will the responses be due?
- Returns to Metis are required by 28th February – the template has been reduced in length and detail and requests key asset data only.
3. Is this compulsory for all London Boroughs?
- Yes – the requirement is included in the Borough Local Implementation Plan (LIP) process. LoTAG is using the information to improve asset management in London and to present, year-on-year, the status of the highway assets in London.
4. Will the submission be linked to funding in anyway?
- This is currently under consideration by LoTAG.
