Thank you for your email received by us on 1 November 2017 asking for information about Transport For London (TfL) licensed taxi drivers with a Brighton address from 2013 onwards.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. You asked for the following in relation to your previous request reference number FOI-1968-1718:
 
Is there anywhere I can get postcode breakdowns for previous years? In particular, for 2013 onwards? I noticed there was a big jump in the total numbers of private hire drivers in 2014, and wondered how much of that was from drivers living outside London.
 
Unfortunately, we do not hold the information you have requested as the data produced is constantly refreshed with updated information, thereby overwriting the old data in the process. Consequently, it cannot be retrieved and backdated for previous years.
