We have been asking for the planned start date and financial approval conformation for this works from TFL which is due to be completed by the end of March 2022. The response has been that it should take place but still not planned or funded. This a pathetic answer given the short timescales involved so we would like a definitive answer on when planning and finance approval will be given and a planned start date. If this requests prompts an answer that gives detailed information from the stakeholders then I will withdraw the FOI.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 12 December 2021, asking for information about works at Lumey Road junction with Sutton bypass.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.
TfL is planning carriageway resurfacing at this location, with the intention of carrying out construction in 2223. TfL works with supply chain partners and consults with stakeholders affected to develop the programme of works for resurfacing schemes. It’s currently in the early design stages, and will not be constructed by March 2022.
There is a provisional plan in place which indicates construction no sooner than July 2022 but this plan may well alter as we discover information from the early design activity which could in turn affect the nature of works required.
We have not yet had confirmation of budget to cover the costs of this scheme, due to TfL’s wider funding situation.
