Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 25 January 2017 asking for information about TfL Rail.

Improvement work is taking place at TfL Rail stations to prepare for the arrival of full Elizabeth line services in 2019. Step-free access will be provided at all stations, and all ticket halls will be rebuilt or refurbished, with improved lighting, CCTV and customer information. Additionally, longer and refurbished platforms for the new trains are being installed to improve capacity and reliability.
