Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. You asked for:
the bus number/registration of any buses involved in any incidents involving a bus operating the 255 or 50 routes or any other route that used Thornton Avenue between 6 December 2021 and 11 December 2021 hitting a parked car or other object; and
the bus number/registration of any damage recorded or otherwise noted to the front passenger side of any bus operating the 255 or 50 routes or any other route that used Thornton Avenue between 6 December 2021 and 11 December 2021.

We checked our two reporting systems, one of which captures safety-related incidents involving buses and the other one collisions on the road network for anything matching the description above, and didn’t find any incidents that occurred on Thornton Avenue between 6 and 11 December 2021.
You can contact the bus operator Arriva directly to see if they hold any incidents as described above. However, as a private company, they are not subject to FOI and do not have to comply with the FOI Act.
