FOI request detail

Concessionary fares/discounts on Crossrail for Heathrow employees

Request ID: FOI-2082-1718
Date published: 20 November 2017

You asked

I would like to request information clarifying whether or not TfL are planning to continue offering a 75% discount on fares for journeys from stations between Paddington and Reading to Heathrow. This discount is currently offered for employees/airside ID holders on existing GWR/Heathrow Connect services to the airport, which Crossrail/Elizabeth Line services will replace. I would also like information on how such a discount, if offered, will be applied in conjunction with Oyster, ensuring that airport ID discount holders are able to benefit from the same paperless ticketing system that other passengers will be able to.
