Thank you for your request received by us on 8 December 2021 asking for information about the Woolwich Ferry service.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for the following:
Can you confirm that since TfL have taken the operation of the Woolwich Ferry in house for almost 12 months, that they now have a full term Passenger Safety Certificate and a fully compliant ISM system supported by a full term DoC?
We can advise that we have had a compliant Safety Management System since 7 January 2021. The full term certification was issued at the end of the interim period in July 2021, whilst the Full Term Passenger Safety Certificates were issued in October last year.
