How does this compare to when it was operated by Briggs and how does this relate to the overall budget expenditure. Is the budget also running at 61%?

Thank you for your request received by us on 8 December 2021 asking for information about the Woolwich Ferry service.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for the following:
I understand, according to tubestatus.net' that the Woolwich Ferry is operating at 61% 'good service' and assume this to be an annual performance figure.
How does this compare to when it was operated by Briggs and how does this relate to the overall budget expenditure. Is the budget also running at 61%?
Please see the table below for annual service availability presented by financial year; the performance target is set at 95%.

We can also advise that the Woolwich Ferry performance during 2021 was significantly affected by both the Covid lockdown in early 2021, and thereafter industrial action for the remainder of the year.
Whist the availability of services does not directly correlate to the budget, we can confirm that we are operating significantly under budget as a result of these conditions, which were outside of our control.
