Dear Sir/madam, I would like to request information regarding the investment of T-Charge revenue. Namely, I would like to know details of where and when the money will be spent and if it will be directed to fund active clean-air policies within Greater London.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 28 October 2017 asking for information about T Charge revenue.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

The T-Charge is part of the Congestion Charge scheme. All net revenue generated by the Congestion Charge since it was implemented in 2003 has been reinvested straight into ongoing investment in the Capital’s transport infrastructure. Application of the revenue which TfL forecasts will be generated in each upcoming year is incorporated into the overall TfL Business Plan. The proposed application of revenue in the years 2009/10 to  2016/17 inclusive is shown in the table in the attached document.
