Dear TfL
You say on your website "We publish weekly reports which show the actual arrival time of buses on a route at any given bus stop for the selected day.". But I can't see this data online at the link https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/buses-performance-data#on-this-page-5 - instead I just see e.g. the average speed for a given bus along its full route. Could you point me towards data at the route * bus stop level? Ideally I'd like this going back 18 months

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 13 September 2023 asking for information about bus performance.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do hold bus stop arrival/departure times in our reporting database, it would not be possible to provide such data for the whole bus network for 18 months due to high volume of data. To provide the information you have requested would exceed the ‘appropriate limit’ of £450 set by the Freedom of Information (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004.
Under section 12 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to comply with requests if we estimate that the cost of determining whether we hold the information, locating and retrieving it and extracting it from other information would exceed the appropriate limit. In this instance, we estimate that the time required to answer your request would exceed 18 hours which, at £25 per hour (the rate stipulated by the Regulations), exceeds the ‘appropriate limit’.
If you are interested in a specific bus route over a shorter period of time, we may be able to assist you further.
