I'm a researcher at UCL looking for data on advertising of cars. Having looked at the two available annual reports on your website, I'd like further information. The 2017/2018 report lists 86 advertising campaigns under the category of "Motors"; while the 2016/2017 report lists 154 advertisements under the category of "automotive".
Assuming that these categories are referring to essentially the same thing, I would like to know what the total revenue from these adverts and campaigns (from 'Motors' or 'Automotive').
I would also like to see this data (revenue from automotive advertisements) for previous years.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

I can confirm that we hold the information you require, which is shown below. Note that the data has been provided by our two contracted advertising partners, with the data provided from the beginning of their contracts. The data has been provided to us by calendar year as follows:
Gross Revenue for ‘Automotive’ and ‘Motor’ categories:
2017: £4,378,082
2018: £2,602,020
2019 (to date): £3,962,358
