District line/circle line scheduling

Request ID: FOI-2050-1920
Date published: 30 October 2019

You asked

Hi, A common complaint from your customers who use high St Kensington station is the lack of trains displayed on the dot matrix indicators. Quite often, particularly for trains headed to earls Court or Gloucester road, no arrival information is displayed until 1 or 2 minutes prior to arrival. This is in contrast to other stations and platforms. Your station staff have been unable to answer why this is the case, they advised I should raise this request as they are unable to get the information themselves Can you please answer: Why southbound and eastbound district and circle line trains are not displayed on the platform indicators on a regular and timely basis? I.e. when the trains leave Edgware road? How many other complaints have you received about this issue in 2019? What next steps will you take to investigate and rectify this situation?
