You asked

How much income has TFl raised on extending the congestion charge to private hire drivers since the exemption was removed. How much revenue via the congestion charge has TFl raised since the CC changed from 5 days a week to 7 days a week from the private hire trade.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 12 January 2021, asking for information about income from the Congestion Charge.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. 

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested. When a motorist purchases the Congestion Charge or pays a Penalty Charge Notice we do not record whether the vehicle in question is a licensed Private Hire Vehicle.
