FOI request detail

Freedom Passes

Request ID: FOI-2036-2122
Date published: 17 December 2021

You asked

I have recently been informed about a person over the age of 70 who was made homeless and subsequently had their Freedom Pass cancelled. I would like to request data from TfL about the number of people whose Freedom Passes were cancelled in each of the past 5 years for which data is available, due to the person having no fixed address. I would also like to ask if it is TfL policy that when someone has no fixed address, their Freedom Pass is automatically cancelled? Does TfL not make any other attempt to contact a person if it cannot find an address at which to contact them?
