Request ID: FOI-2035-2122 Date published: 23 December 2021
You asked
I would like to know the hourly volumes for each different vehicle type (cycles, scooters, taxi cars, LGVs etc.) and whether compliant with ULEZ for 2 junctions in Forest Hill SE23 as measured by the ULEZ cameras:
1) Devonshire Road and South Circular A205
2) Honor Oak Road (SE23) and South Circular A205 .
I would like the data for
- Since ULEZ's introduction (25th October 2021) until latest date you have available,
- For the month prior to its introduction (Sept 24 to Oct 24).
I would also like to ascertain how much of the traffic is local so would be great to understand how many vehicles that used the junctions are registered in SE23.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3 December 2021, asking for traffic counts.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

The attached spreadsheet contains hourly flows by mode as recorded by the ULEZ ANPR cameras for the two locations in question.
Please note that the recording in-station used for new ULEZ cameras went live from 7October and there is no earlier data available for these camera locations.
We are not able to identify the compliance of vehicles being captured at specific junctions due to the way our image processing is managed. However we can provide ULEZ compliance across the zone by vehicle type, which is published in the Mayor’s report here.
I would also like to ascertain how much of the traffic is local so would be great to understand how many vehicles that used the junctions are registered in SE23.
We do not hold this information because we do not have access to the registered postcode of vehicles.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely
