Conducting a Research regarding about the delay of Crossrail
Request ID: FOI-1984-2122 Date published: 16 December 2021
You asked
What are the causes of Delays of TFL's new service line?: Elizabeth Line
Are Brexit and covid-19 responsible for the delays?
Based On this research I will be coming up with a survey to conduct my primary research.
However, the Crossrail line is not open. So, I planned to originally visit several stations that are part of the interchanges for the upcoming new line. in which I would like to speak to whoever oversees those stations and conduct a survey.
Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, my university will not allow me to conduct a face-to-face meeting due to the current situation. So, I would like to know if possible, I can get an email from the managers that oversee each station.
• Paddington
• Bond street
• Tottenham court road
• Farrington
• Liverpool street
• Whitechapel
• Canary wharf
• Stratford
I’m not sure if some of these stations might have designated managers or managers themselves. As I’ve never worked with TFL before so if it’s possible that would be greatly appreciated. I am not sure how the structure works.
I’m looking forward to hearing this and thank you for taking the time to read my email.
Kind regards,

There is no single or simple answer to the causes of delays to the Crossrail project. I would suggest you review the material that has already been published on this subject and which will give you a detailed analysis of the different factors. In particular, I would point you to the following:
https://www.crossrail.co.uk/ - the Crossrail website which contains a wealth of information about all aspects of the project;
