You asked

6.1.21 clarification: I am writing in terms of the New Road & Street Works Act for information on which Utility had an opening notice/permit to carry out street works (excavation) on Euston Road, Kings Cross, WC1H 9PJ. Yes, the junction of Duke’s Road & Euston Road is correct. Transport for London reported the damage to Virgin Media and confirmed that UKPN were the party responsible for the damage however, without street permits, UKPN are unwilling to investigate our claim. Could you please go back 2 years from 31/07/2020 as we are investigating a latent damage to Virgin Media apparatus at this location. Could you kindly include this message with your response and provide the information as an electronic copy. Please also note this information is not publicly available to us nor is it easily accessible as we are based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. We therefore feel this request is in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2014 (section 21) and The Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (Reg 6(1))

Thank you for your request received by us on 6 January 2021 asking for information about street works (excavation) on Euston Road, Kings Cross, WC1H 9PJ.  Thank you for confirming the location.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

Please see attached as requested for Euston Road covering the period July 2018 – July 2020.

Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under Data Protection legislation some personal data has been removed, as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.
