1. The number of positive covid19 test cases in year 2020 by bus operator.
2. Number of those positive covid19 hospitalised by bus operator
3. Number of bus drivers who sadly died from covid19 by bus operator.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked for:
1. The number of positive covid19 test cases in year 2020 by bus operator.
Please find the figures for each bus operator in the below table. Data is from 3 October 2020 which is when we started to collect it once testing was more available, and as the number of positive tests started to increase in the wider community.

The number of deaths by Bus Operator for the period March to May 2020 is also published in this UCL report on the TfL website.
It is important to compare the above figures with the market share of each bus operator. As you may know they differ greatly in size, therefore the larger the market share the higher the number of deaths and positive cases they are likely to have. The below table shows the percentage of each operator’s market share for context. Please note the figures are approximately 10 months old.
