We answered
Our Ref: FOI-1945-2122
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. London’s transport network is a safe, low-crime network. Millions of passengers travel on it every day, with very few of them ever experiencing or witnessing crime. We fund more than 2,500 officers across the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), British Transport Police (BTP) and the City of London Police (CoLP). They police the network to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour, and make customers feel safer when travelling. We regularly publish information regarding crime and incidents on our network on our website: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/crime-and-incident-bulletins
We do not hold the information you have requested as we are not provided this level of detail in the data provided to us by the BTP or MPS. Some customers may report incidents via our Customer Services team however the BTP and MPS would hold more comprehensive data. Please contact them directly for this information:
TfL, in partnership with the Rail Delivery Group and their transport policing colleagues, recently launched a campaign that unwanted sexual behaviour is not acceptable on the transport network and to encourage reporting. Of the offences listed in your request, Cat calling and other similar forms of sexual harassment such as sexual comments or gestures would typically be investigated as a public order or byelaw offence where there was enough evidence, and may not be easily extracted by police data. Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
