Thank you for your email received by us on 10 January 2017 asking for information about the barrier repairs on the A2.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.

1) When these safety repair works will be complete

We do not currently have a completion date but we expect the works to be completed this month. The 30mph speed limit has now been removed from the A2 between Kidbrooke and Eltham tunnel. This was in place for the safety of road users when the barrier was incomplete.

2) If the 30mph average speed cameras are active and
3) How much has been collected from fines if they are active.

The cameras are not yet active therefore no fines have been issued.
