Thank you for your request which we received on 6 September 2023.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIRs) and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You specifically asked for:

On the TFL website about roadworks on Manor Circus, Richmond it is stated:
"An accessibility audit will be made on site in each construction phase. This will review the layout of fences, barriers, and temporary pedestrian and cycle diversions, and recommend changes to improve accessibility"
Please provide a copy of each audit carried out.

The purpose of the accessibility audits is to undertake a physical on-site assessment of the traffic management (i.e. safety fences, pedestrian crossings, tactile paving, and temporary pedestrian and cycle diversions etc.) that have been installed on site. As the works activities move around the junction, the traffic management will need to shift around. For this reason, we will undertake the accessibility audits at each construction phase. Following these audits, a list of actions, often with photographs to best communicate an identifies issue, is passed on to the traffic management contractor and construction manager, in order to make changes where appropriate to improve accessibility. The outputs of these site visits are not written reports – the actions and photos are shared by email.

The last on-site assessment was undertaken on 6 September 2023 and our feedback was sent on to the contractors for their response. Please see a copy attached. The next accessibility audit is due to take place in the next couple of weeks.

Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under the Data Protection legislation some personal data has been removed, as required by Regulation 13 of the Environmental Information Regulations. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle of the legislation, which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions of Schedule 2 which would make the processing ‘fair’.
