TfL Ref: 1935-2122
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 28 November 2021 asking for information about our tube maps.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act / and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked: In respect of the tube maps made available by TfL at tube stations please can you provide the following information:

The next Tube map will be issued in mid January 2022; however for the following two maps, we are not yet able to provide the dates they will be released as they will be issued to coincide respectively with the Elizabeth Line Launch sometime in 2022 and the Barking Riverside Launch the date of which is not yet confirmed.
The maps are usually distributed to all stations at the same time. Each station gets a weekly delivery of marketing posters etc on a Friday and as and when there are map updates, these get distributed via the weekly delivery. Please note however that with the September 2021 issue, there were some print problems, so zone 1 stations got their map delivery one week before the rest of the network.
Please see attached as requested. These maps can also be accessed via our public website which has the most up to date maps. https://tfl.gov.uk/maps/track/tube
