TFL's interest in residential land at Manor Court flats (W3 8JX)

You asked

Hello, I would like all information in relation to what I understand is TFL’s speculative interest in and/or plans to buy a strip of land which is part of the residential grounds of Manor Court flats (W3 8JX) This land is effectively the communal gardens of Manor Court, with trees, shrubs and plants - and a vital green space barrier between residential homes and the A406. I understand residents living in Manor Court recently received letters saying TFL were interested in buying this land, which are within the grounds of Manor Court, and literally part of the grounds where their homes are situated. This land is right next to a residential street too – and within a conservation area. I would like all specific documents in connection to this and the piece of land that TFL have shown an interest in – and an explanation of why there is an interest in it (the land is a residential space in a conservation area) including minutes, internal emails, any other correspondence and related notes.

I have liaised with all potentially relevant teams across TfL and can find no suggestion that TfL has any interest in buying this land. I can only conclude, therefore, that the requested information is not held. If you would like to provide more detail of where you have heard this – including, if you have it, details or even a copy of the reported letter sent to residents – then we can investigate the matter further.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely,
