Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 September 2023 asking for information about lost phones.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
Please see the table below showing the number of mobile phones that have been found on the TfL Network for the past 5 years.
Items such as bags or clothing may contain other property including mobile phones, keys or wallets. For the purpose of this report they are recorded as a single found item excluding the contents. Therefore mobile phones found in bags etc are not included in this report. This keeps it consistent with our previous released transparency data reports.
