Thank you for your email received on 8 October 2017 asking for information about Blackhorse Lane Bridge.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our Information Access Policy. You asked for:

1) The Blackhorse Lane Bridge tender document

I can confirm we do have the tender document you requested. However, the file is too large to send via email so please let me know how else you would like to receive it or specify which section of the document you require.

2) The total cost of the works, and  3) How this work will be funded

The project is being funded by both TfL and London Borough of Croydon. TfL are funding the replacement of the bridge deck on a bridge known as Blackhorse Lane South Bridge. London Borough of Croydon will fund the widening of the highway, reconstruction of a retaining wall and replacement of the bridge deck on a bridge known as Blackhorse Lane North Bridge. The current funding estimate is broken down below:

•           TfL cost: £4.5m

•           London Borough of Croydon: £4.91m

•           Total: £9.4m
