Our ref: FOI-1867-1819

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17 November 2018 asking for information about a bus shelter on Greenwich High Road.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

  1. What date was the bus shelter repositioned?

The shelter was not repositioned.  It was removed at the request of the developer whilst building works were carried out.  Once the building works were completed the shelter was returned to its original position on 03/09/2013.

  2. What was the consultation process prior to moving the shelter and who was consulted?

We consult multiple stakeholders; on this occasion the Developer, Local Authority and all relevant TfL departments. TfL is not legally bound to consult on the removal of its infrastructure but we do ask other organisations for comment to make sure we get our bus stops or shelters in the most appropriate positions.

  3. Was the Accessible bus stop design guidance Bus Priority Team technical advice note BP1/06 January 2006 applicable to this shelter at the time it was repositioned?

    Yes

  4. If the above technical advice note was not applicable to this shelter, were there any other guidelines applicable at the time the bus shelter was repositioned?

    N/A

  5. Was the Accessible bus stop design guidance Bus Priority Team technical advice note BP1/06 January 2006 or any other guidelines applicable to this bus shelter adhered to at the time the shelter was repositioned?
