Thank you for your email received by us on 15 October 2018 asking for information about proposals for the RV1 bus route.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked for the following:
 
RV1 Bus route proposed closure
 
1. time-frame of research that has been deployed to support the decision to close this route
2. road closures during the time relevant data was collected (ie Tooley Street)
3. Degrading of service by 50 percent to 3 times an hour - what percentage of the deployed data was collected after that happened?
4. data collected in terms of passengers using the route during the research - daily and weekly numbers throughout the period of research
5. consultation undertaken - or not - with Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral, local schools, Guys and St Thomas' hospital, The Financial Times, The Globe, London Bridge Experience, The Bridge Theatre, Kings College and any other major employers or providers of services
 
I can advise that no final decisions have yet been made for the RV1 bus route since the service is currently going through our consultation process and therefore we do not hold the specific information you have requested.
