TfL Ref: FOI-1845-2425
Thank you for your request which we received on 5 September 2024, asking for information about scaffolding at 446 Brixton Road, outside of Marks & Spencer.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.
I can confirm that a scaffold licence (TFL15793) was issued by TfL to PM Scaffolding on 4 September and the licence was valid until 2 October 2024. There is also a valid hoarding licence (TFL15794) issued from 4 September until 2 October 2024.
We are not aware of any investigation report or Health & Safety investigation report on how the scaffold was erected or how the works were carried out. To the best of our knowledge, PM Scaffolding have adhered to the conditions of the scaffold and hoarding licence. We discussed with the scaffold company that they would be storing all scaffold in the area next to the building and the footway would be kept open during installation.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright.
Yours sincerely
