You asked
Good evening,
I would like to know if your buses have been experiencing delays in Ealing since Aug20. More specifically the E2, E3 on Northfields Avenue (northBound) and the E8 and 195 buses between Boston Manor Session and Ealing Broadway or Southall respectively.
I would like these compared to previous year at same period and July-Aug20.

TfL Ref: FOI-1837-2021
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 13th December 2020 asking for information about bus delays in Ealing.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“I would like to know if your buses have been experiencing delays in Ealing since Aug20. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. We have been monitoring journey times along Northfield Avenue between Julien Road & Dean Gardens/Mattock Lane for routes E2 & E3, and Boston Road between Swyncombe Avenue & Half Acre Road (or Jessamine Road in the SB direction) for routes E8 & 195.
The attached spreadsheet provides data showing the average weekday (Mon-Fri) journey times in minutes per kilometre, for each corridor and direction, by week and peak. These are averages across the included routes, weighted by the route frequency. The peaks are AM (7am-10am), Inter (10am-4pm), PM (4pm-7pm), and 12hr (7am-7pm).
Note that the spreadsheet has two worksheets within it. The second (titled “Pivot”) has filters in rows 4-6 which allow the data shown to be switched by corridor, direction, and time.
Note also that TfL proactively publishes ‘Excess Waiting Time’ statistics for buses on our website here:
