How many Skilled Worker Visa's has been successfully sponsored (and Certificate of Sponsorship has been issued) by TfL in 2023 and 2024, and how many requests have been rejected by TfL. Please provide the reasons for rejections.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 4 September 2024 asking for information about Skilled Worker Visas.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.
For 2023, 113 Skilled Worker Visa's were successfully sponsored (and Certificate of Sponsorship has been issued) by TfL. For 2024 year so far, (September 2024), there have been 48 sponsored.
We do not log “rejections” - there is a criteria that needs to be met to allow the Certificate of Sponsorship to be raised. If the criteria is not met it will not be continued, and this is not recorded.
