Hello, I was looking to calculate my carbon footprint for myself and on behalf of my company. I have been using the metrics provided by the Rail emissions: April 2022 to March 2023. Are the below average emission per distance below suitable to use for 2022/23? London Underground 40.5 gCO2e per passenger km London Overground 29.2g gCO2e Per passenger km DLR 22.74 gCO2e per passenger km Bus 98.6 gCO2e per passenger km Car (large – petrol car) 249 gCO2e per passenger km Thank you,

Based on emissions modelling undertaken as part of the London Atmospheric Emissions Inventory 2019, an estimate for the direct emissions of CO2 from a petrol car in London are between 176-231 g/km, with an average of 200g/km. Information on indirect emissions is not available in the London Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (LAEI), but these are available on the government website: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/transport-energy-and-environment-statistics-notes-and-definitions/journey-emissions-comparisons-methodology-and-guidance#road-travel and https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/government-conversion-factors-for-company-reporting.

Please note that the estimates of CO2 figures provided are for London based fleet information of petrol cars and urban speeds; these may therefore be different to national estimates.
