Thank you for your request received by on 31 October 2022 asking for information about the Technology and Data - TSO, Non-Permeant Labour/Agency - PB3 role.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.

We are working to reduce our reliance on non-permanent labour (NPL) where feasible, however, it is important that we continue to make use of the flexibility offered by NPL where it is prudent to do so and to ensure that we are able to hire talent in areas where skills are scarce.

You asked:

Can you please provide me with the rate per hour or daily rate for Technology Service Operations, PB3 roles by job title covered by on-Permeant Labour/Agency at PB3?

Some of the information above, as well as information on the following job titles, has been withheld in accordance with our obligations under Data Protection legislation. Information on positions where there are a small number of staff in these posts has been withheld as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act as personal data of these persons could be identified. Disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle of Article 5 of the UK General Data Protection Regulation which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’. This exemption to the right of access to information is an absolute exemption and not subject to an assessment of whether the public interest favours use of the exemption.
