1) How many new ULEZ signs were installed as part of the ULEZ zone expansion on 25th October 2021?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 10 November 2021 asking for information about 2021 ULEZ signage quantity and costs.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
1483 new permanent signs were installed for the ULEZ expansion scheme. This number does not include existing road signs that were amended or upgraded for safety or informational purposes, nor temporary signs that were installed ahead of the scheme. The Estimated Financial Cost (EFC) of material supply, installation of all signs, all indirect delivery costs and risk is c.£8m.
