We are instructed on behalf of our client to investigate injuries arising from a road traffic collision on the morning of 26 September 2022. The incident occurred at the intersection of Mawney Road and Eastern Avenue (A12) at approximately 6:02 am. The car in question was travelling North East on the A12 approaching the traffic lights in question. Our client was crossing the intersection from the South side of Mawney Road heading North. We understand from Havering Borough Council that TfL is responsible for the lights at this intersection and would be grateful if you could provide information regarding the timing of the traffic lights at this intersection on the morning of 26 September 2022.

Thank you for your request received by us on 30 August 2024, asking for timings of the traffic lights at the intersection of Mawney Road and Eastern Avenue (A12).

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. 

 

For a detailed explanation of the operation of the traffic signals we would need to prepare a traffic signal sequencing report.
