Hello. I would like to make a FOI request to find out if TFL has taken any action to stop the Metro and Evening Standard newspapers from hosting adverts for sex chat and prostitution (chat or date). And if so what action was taken.

I can confirm that we do not hold the information you require; TfL has not taken any such action. The advertising is the responsibility of the newspapers.
