You asked
Dear Office,
Do you class London Private Hire Vehicle as commercial Vehicle.
Looking at information you provided before, London taxi is not a commercial vehicle as it is classed as M1 type light goods carriage vehicle.
Does same law applies to Private Hire Vehicle?
As my vehicle is also licensed by PCO and on DVLA vehicle Check it is classed as type M1.
Thanks.

TfL does not hold the requested information as we do not classify private hire vehicles in the manner susggested. Note that vehicles are classified by the Vehicle Certification Agency and HM Revenue and Customs for tax purposes, and so you may therefore wish to take up your query with those bodies.
