Under the Freedom of Information Act (2000) I would like you to advise what proportion of 100% electric vehicles had their “application” rejected, and for what reason.
Any 12 month period within the last 2 years would be great.

Thank you for your request received by us on 24 August 2023, asking about rejected applications for Cleaner Vehicles Discount.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested.
We operate a number of discounts for Congestion Charging including the Cleaner Vehicle Discount, the 100% Blue Badge discount and the residents discount. When we receive a discount application we do not record which discount is being applied for and therefore we do not record specifically the number of Cleaner Vehicle Discount applications we have received. In addition, when such an application is rejected we do not record the reason.
However, we do record the number of active Cleaner Vehicle Discounts we have, and as of 1 September 2023 there were 64,879 active accounts with a total of 102,167 vehicles registered on those accounts.
