Good afternoon
During the pandemic (and up until May 2023), TfL published daily passenger numbers for each of its tube stations on its PowerBI site, please see reference below

TfL Ref: 1743-2324
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 22 August 2023 asking for information about passenger volumes. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. You asked about the following:
Can you please: i) Send the underlying numbers (ie daily entries/exits) for each tube station for each day between 01/01/2021 and 08/05/2023 ii) For the more recent dates not on this site please can you send the same data for each tube station between 08/05/2023-22/08/2023
We can advise that TfL is no longer updating the PowerBI report, which was specifically introduced for insight on London Underground use during the pandemic.
However, the entry and exit London Underground data you are seeking from 1 January 2021 to 23 July 2023, which is the most recent dataset we have available, is provided in the attached spreadsheets that also includes other TfL rail services such as the London Overground, Docklands Light Railway and the Elizabeth line.
The datasets show instances of passengers touching in and out at the named station, as well as the use of paper tickets at stations where TfL collects such information. As some stations may be ungated (such as the DLR network), this means that the data is likely to be an under-representation of the true demand at those stations (for example, passengers using a paper or season ticket would have no need to touch in or out at an ungated station).
Please also note that all counts under five (be they entry or exit) are excluded from the data under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act, the exemption that protects against the unfair release of personal data.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely
