Bus journey time delays along WBR from 20 Jul 2020 to present
Request ID: FOI-1731-2021
Date published: 29 December 2020
You asked
As a bus user/pedestrian/cyclist I am interested to understand the recent impact on bus times on the road that I live. Please can you provide the data showing the expected and actual bus journey times for buses travelling both North and South on Wandsworth Bridge Road since 20th July 2020. Please also indicate the number of journeys that were either terminated early, with reason for early termination of service (e.g due to the congestion on Wandsworth Bridge Road) or were re-routed along the Harwood Terrace/Bagley’s Lane/Imperial Road/Townmead Road route instead of the Wandsworth Bridge Road Route.
Journey times must be easily distinguishable between journeys being made on Wandsworth Bridge Road vs. the alternative route that was taken as mentioned above.
Frequency of termination of service would also be very helpful - no. of days the bus service was terminated prior to end of route as well as number of buses per each of those days that were terminated prior to completion of intended service.
Frequency of re-routing of service would also be very helpful - no. of days the bus service was re-routed onto Townmead/Imperial Road route as well as number of buses per each of those days that were re-routed.

Please see the attached requested data by route number and journey direction from 1 July 2020 to 13 November 2020, representing iBus recorded departure times at each stop. Any missing stop segments are marked with either an ‘Operated’ or ‘Lost’ comment.
Unfortunately, the design of our systems does not allow us to view the exact routeing and any additional stops undertaken during temporary diversions. Any stop segments operated on diversion are highlighted accordingly.
Many of the destination names are also abbreviated by our recording systems. However, complete names of each stop can be found by either referring to our bus maps or route schedules via the following links:

https://tfl.gov.uk/maps_/bus-spider-maps?Query=Wandsworth
The journey information provided also contains occasional ‘unscheduled’ trips. This occurs when there are two or more buses operating the same bus route number on the same day, which tends to happen when a bus is substituted with another half-way during the journey, for example
