TfL Ref: FOI-1711-2122
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3rd November 2021 asking for a copy of the Liveable Crouch End Gateway 2 submission from Haringey Council.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Please supply a copy of the Liveable Crouch End Gateway 2 submission from Haringey Council to Transport for London. This was submitted to TfL in mid May 2020.”
I can confirm that we hold the information you require, although the date of submission in 2020 was April not May and the submission was in draft form. These documents are attached. Note that the scheme is not currently going ahead and is still subject to public consultation, and therefore the documents attached do not necessarily represent current thinking (a further submission was made in May 2021). Some redactions have been made to the material material under section 43 of the Freedom of Information Act on the basis that release would prejudice the commercial interests of the council and TfL - for example, financial details about the estimated cost of various elements. We consider that the balance of public interest favours the application of the exemption in order to ensure that the best value is achieved in the spending of public money, should the scheme go ahead. A small number of redactions have also been made under section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act, where personal data (the names and direct contact details of external staff) have been removed.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely,
David Wells FOI Case Officer FOI Case Management Team General Counsel Transport for London
