Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23rd August 2024 asking for information about Stamford Hill station.

Specifically you asked:
“According to railwaycodes.org.uk, there are proposed plans to incorporate Yiddish signage at Stamford Hill station. Can you tell me what stage these plans are at and what exactly is included in the plan (just roundels or the station entrance sign)?
I have liaised with colleagues in our Customer Information team, and with equivalent colleagues at Arriva Rail London (which operates London Overground services) and we are not aware of any plans to provide signage in Yiddish at Stamford Hill station, nor are they aware of where the suggestion may have originated.
