I was wondering if you'd be able to provide me with the breakdown of Contactless vs Oyster and ticketed travel across the London underground network from August 2017-August 2018.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 24 September 2018 asking for information about Contactless, Oyster and ticketed travel.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.
On London Underground, from August 2017/18 to August 2018/19 inclusive, there were 684.7m Oyster journeys made by fare payers using pay as you go (PAYG) or Travelcard, compared to 380.6m Contactless journeys.
