Request ID: FOI-1680-2122 Date published: 15 November 2021
You asked
In the last five years, how many 'secret shopper' type operations have TFLTPH compliance officers carried out to check that taxi drivers will comply with destination compellability.
If five years is too much work, I'd settle for 2018-2019.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 November 2021 asking for information about taxi compliance checks.
You asked: In the last five years, how many 'secret shopper' type operations have TFLTPH compliance officers carried out to check that taxi drivers will comply with destination compellability.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
Our Operational Officers do not carry out ‘secret shopper’ type operations to check compliance of this nature. If we were to receive a complaint relating to destination compellability, we would investigate accordingly.
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
