Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 28 September 2017 asking for information about hybrid buses.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. You asked:

Can you please tell me how many hybrid buses operate out of Uxbridge, what percentage of total no. this represents, and what routes they operate on?

Due to the number of requests we receive about the bus fleet, we provide this data online and publish it in a format that people cannot change: https://tfl.gov.uk/cdn/static/cms/documents/fleet-online-operational-vehicle-data.xlsx

However, this doesn’t mean it can’t be copied into another spreadsheet and analysed. The best way forward would be to paste the online version into a blank Excel and then to add filters and routes that pass through Uxbridge. This way you can use the information in whichever way you wish.

We do not plan bus routes on a borough boundary basis so we do not hold that data.

Please note that in accordance with s21 of the FOI Act we are not obliged to supply the requested data if it is readily available to you elsewhere.
