Please advise how much was spent on road maintenance for each of the last three financial years.
We have spent the following amounts on road maintenance over the last three financial years;
2017/18 £29,110,705.22
2018/19 £28,849,904.82
2019/20 £28,911,465.95
Please note these figures include our main highways contract lump sums payments for maintenance and the ordered maintenance spend. This covers a range of road related maintenance activities such as safety inspections, cleaning, signs, road markings, drainage, lighting, winter gritting, emergency call outs, vegetation and tree maintenance as well as the standard footway and carriageway maintenance.
In addition to this, we have spent the following as part of our asset renewal work over the last three financial years;
