Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to know the following information. 1. How did TFL users pay for their journeys on TFL in 2012? Please confirm the total number of journeys completed for each payment type, including physical ticket, contactless debit card, contactless credit card, Oyster card, mobile payments (i.e. Apply Pay or Android Pay), and any other payment methods. For example, please specify the number of journeys were completed using a physical ticket, the number of journeys completed using a contactless debit card, the number of journeys completed using a contactless credit card, the number of journeys completed using an Oyster card, the number of journeys completed using a mobile payments (i.e. Apply Pay or Android Pay), etc. I would like to know the same information for the subsequent years, i.e. 2. How did TFL users pay for their journeys on TFL in 2013? Please confirm the total number of journeys completed for each payment type, including physical ticket, contactless debit card, contactless credit card, Oyster card, mobile payments (i.e. Apply Pay or Android Pay) and any other payment methods. 3. Please see below for details of fare payer journeys on our bus and London Underground services since 2004. Please note that the figures for 2018 are for the current calendar year up to 15 September.

We do not retain historical breakdowns of Contactless Payments by the different payment types for TfL users.
