In addition, can you provide me with the rate of change from hybrid and fully combustion to fully electric vehicles which is currently taking place in London?

Thank you for your request received on 7 October 2022 asking for information about private hire vehicles (PHVs).
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require. You asked:
• How many PHV are a) fully-electric, b) hybrid and c) fully combustion in London?
The table below holds the most recent information we hold regarding PHV fuel use, this information is correct as of June 2022.

• In addition, can you provide me with the rate of change from hybrid and fully combustion to fully electric vehicles which is currently taking place in London?
We do not hold information regarding the rate of change, however, from 1 January 2023 all PHVs licensed for the first time in London must be Zero Emission Capable and meet the Euro 6 emissions standards.
